The mission of the K. D. Moore Community Development, Inc. is to positively impact community change by providing opportunities that address the physical, educational, economical, and financial wellness of children, youth, seniors, and families in Clarkston, Ga and the surrounding metro Atlanta community.  

Our center focus is to increase the awareness and necessity for improved health and wellness.  Also our focus is to help individuals to make health and wellness a lifestyle through a variety of venues.  The K. D. Moore Community Development, Inc. desires to have a positive impact on the WHOLE being and thereby provide educational opportunities in the area of financial wellness, spiritual empowerment and emotional well-being.  Programs include budgeting workshops, parenting classes, seminars for seniors, health and nutrition education, physical fitness activities, and events.
